THE positive results achieved in 2022 despite the crisis that has been affecting the international automotive industry for years and the shortage of supplies, have prompted the group to increase the amount of the award compared to past years. “It's about 200 million more compared to last year – explained the managing director Carlos Tavares – and it is a fair recognition for the contribution of all employees to the growth of Stellantis in a very challenging economic context. When the company does well, all employees do well: this is the foundation of our culture of payment for performance”.
L'amount and delivery mode of the prize will vary in each country on the basis of the different agreements. "Stellantis is working to harmonize the logics to be applied for bonuses in the individual national contracts," the company said in a statement.
Stellantis Award: an average amount of 1.879 euros to Italian employees
As regards Italy, employees scattered throughout the various national plants linked to the Specific Collective Labor Agreement will receive an overall average bonus equal to 1.879 gross. The amount however is not fixed, but it is related to goals of efficiency of the plants envisaged in 2022 by the 2019-2022 collective labor agreement, which expired on 31 December and is being renewed, and to extraordinary recognition announced by CEO Tavares.
How to calculate the Stellantis premium amount
As mentioned, the amount may vary based on the objectives of the individual plants and on the extraordinary bonus. In general, employees subject to the Specific Collective Labor Agreement will receive a bonus equal to 6% of salary, which corresponds on average to 1.429 euros gross. To this figure we must add another extraordinary prize of 450 euros gross, equal to approximately 2% of the reference average salary. Adding the one and the other one will arrive at a total bonus equal to 8% of the salary.
Stellantis Award: when does it arrive?
According to the instructions provided by Stellantis, the prize will be disbursed in two different tranches. The first will come directly in Februaryso in a few days. The second will instead be paid in the month of April.
