Oropan, a Bari-based company specializing in bread-making (it produces, among others, the famous Pane di Altamura) was the winner of the X Edition of the Business Award for Innovation organized by Confindustria, created in collaboration with the Giuseppina Mai Foundation, Confindustria Bergamo, with the support of BNP Paribas and Warrant Hub – Tinexta Group and with the technical support of the Italian Quality Award Association (APQI). The result of this long, rigorous and still ongoing process, has allowed a product like bread to reach the tables of consumers all over the world as if it were freshly baked, keeping unchanged the naturalness, tradition, taste, aromas, food culture and traditions of a territory, Puglia. The awards ceremony was held on February 7, in Milan, at the MICO as part of Connext, the first national industrial partnership meeting organized by Confindustria to strengthen collaborations in the production chains and in Research and Innovation projects. This partnership meeting is an important factor for the growth and success of companies. The award was collected by the Managing Director of Oropan SpA, Lucia Forte.
