The eighth Edition of the Business Excellence Award promoted by GEA, Harvard Business Review Italia and Arca Fondi SGR with the patronage of Borsa Italiana is underway - The Rising Star category for Innovative SMEs with high potential is born for the 2021 Edition

Business Excellence Award also for high-potential SMEs

Applications open for the eighth edition of the Business Excellence Award. The Prize will be awarded to the company that stands out for one or more of the envisaged criteria: Innovation and Technology, Sustainability, Internationalization and the new category for innovative SMEs with high potential, Rising Star. The winner will be awarded a Milan on November 10, 2021 at Palazzo Mezzanotte (Italian Stock Exchange).

The initiative is promoted by GEA-Consulenti di Gestione, by the management magazine Harvard Business Review Italia and Arca Fondi SGR (asset management company) under the patronage of Borsa Italiana.

The award includes thefree self-application by 30 June 2021 directly on the website www.eccellenzedimpresa.it (which indicates the necessary documents and information to be attached to the application); by mail to the addresspremio@eccellenzedimpresa.it and to the postal address Eccellenze d'Impresa c/o GEA, Corso Italia 47, 20122 Milan. The tender is open to all national and non-Italian companies. There are no size or sector limits.

The Jury will select the Overall Winner of the 2021 Edition, choosing from among the winners who distinguished themselves in the four categories: Innovation and Technology, Sustainability, Internationalization and Rising Star.

In detail, the company will be awarded that will demonstrate a particular capacity for product and/or process innovation, develop technological leadership based on a sustained and continuous commitment to R&D, implement an effective internationalization process based on a original and broad vision and projection on world markets and allowed a substantial creation of new qualified jobs, with particular attention to young people and diversities of various kinds.

And again, that he has conducted effective management and development of talent within the framework of a non-elitist, but widespread vision of talent development in the company; who has developed and implemented a real and substantial policy of environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility and highlighted a particular entrepreneurial dynamism, especially in the start-up phase. Finally, the company that will be able to effectively define and implement leadership development policies, with particular regard to succession planning, including family succession issues.

I winners of previous editions were: Caffè Borbone in 2020, Bonfiglioli in 2019, Pastificio Rana in 2018, iGuzzini in 2017, Recordati in 2016, Diasorin in 2015 and, finally, Brevini Power Transmission in 2014.

For the 2021 Edition, the Jury is composed of Gabriele Galateri, President of Assicurazioni Generali, Patrizia Greco, President of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, Luisa Todini, President of Todini Finanziaria, Marco Fortis, Vice President of the Edison Foundation and Raffaele Jerusalmi, Director delegate of Borsa Italiana.
