The deadlines for competing for the Abi-Feduf-Fiaba "Finance for social" award have been extended. There will be time until November 15 to participate.

The initiative is aimed at young journalism students and has received the patronage of the National Order of Journalists.

“The initiative – reads a note – aims to support the commitment to explain the importance of financial literacy for the country. Recipients of the competition trainee journalists and students of journalism schools, interested in taking up the challenges of economic journalism, in a historical moment in which adequate financial information and training constitute an authentic service for the development of essential skills".

The theme of the fourth edition's award is “The role of financial and savings education as a tool for social inclusion. Challenges and training perspectives for the most vulnerable segments of the population”.

The best article or audio/video service dealing with the theme of the competition will be awarded. Participation is free. Trainees and students of journalism schools or masters recognized by the Order of Journalists, authors of articles in Italian or radio and television services on the subject in competition can compete. Papers signed by several authors can also compete. With the extension of the terms, each competitor, or group of competitors, will be able to participate with only one article/service, published or broadcast in the period between 1 November 2017 and 15 November 2018.
