Prelios, loss halved in the first half

Prelios closed the first half with a net loss of 64 million euro, against the loss of 125,7 million recorded in the first six months of 2012. The overall impairment and write-downs weighed on the result. By mid-morning, the stock of the real estate company was up 0,7%.

I revenues half-yearly accounts stopped at 51 million euros, against 64,8 million euros in the same period last year. In detail, the revenues of the Italian and foreign management platform amounted to 48,2 million euros, a marked decrease compared to the 61,4 million euros of a year ago. 

Negative the Ebit, down to -4,9 million from -3 million. It gets even worse the net financial position, which fell to -562,3 million euro, against -557,2 million as at 31 May 2013.

The Company has been primarily and strongly involved in the long and complex process of completing the extraordinary operation of financial rebalancing and capital strengthening. Once the same has been completed successfully, in the coming months the management will be able to focus entirely on the industrial relaunch, launching new growth and business development initiatives, in line with the strategy of repositioning as a reference pole in the management of assets and real estate and financial services for third-party investors".
