Prada: profits +7,6% in the half year, to 308,2 million

The first half of the fashion company closed with revenues and profit up respectively by 11,7% and 7,6% – Margins are growing, Ebitda +17,4% to 551,1 million.

The first fiscal semester of Prada ends at the end of July, which closes with revenues up by 11,7% to 1,72 billion euros and an Ebitda up by 17,4% to 551,1 million while the net profit reaches 308,2 million, recording a growth of 7,6%. The net financial position of the company is positive for 195,6 million.

Looking at the quarter alone, the fashion company reported revenues of 945,6 million, up 9,9%, Ebitda of 310,2 million (+15,2%) and net profit up 3,3 %, to 170,1 million. In the second half of 2013, reads the note released by Prada, the group "will continue to pursue the strategy of retail growth and to support the fame of its brands in the world".
