Prada, 9 months net profit +75% on year

Consolidated revenues +25%, Ebitda +47%, Ebit +58% – The group says it is confident in the possibility of consolidating performance for the entire year.

In the third quarter Prada collected a net profit of 93,6 million euros, a clear increase compared to the 53,5 million recorded in the same period last year. Revenues also grew, reaching 596,1 million. Ebitda goes from 105,1 to 171,5 million. The trend of retail sales in November, on the other hand, is in line with the trend of recent months.

The numbers for the first nine months of 2011 for the Italian fashion house are also positive. Consolidated revenues reach 1.730,4 million (+25% on an annual basis), while Ebitda reaches 486,5 million (+47%) and Ebit 392,3 million (+58%). Net income also improved, passing to 273,2 million, up 75% compared to 156,5 million in the period January-September 2010.

Based on these results, the group says it is confident in the possibility of consolidating the performance for the entire year.
In the last session on the Hong Kong stock exchange, Prada shares gained 1,05%.
