Excellent results for Prada in 2011. The Italian brand, which recently opened its largest boutique in Europe in the center of Moscow (1.500 square meters in a luxurious building in the center of the Russian capital), closed its last year with a net profit of 431,9 million euros, up 72,2% and above the expectations of analysts who forecast a profit of around 415 million euros.
The feedback on the financial markets was also excellent: on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, where it is listed, Prada has already gained 41% year-to-date, decisively outperforming the local benchmark Hang Seng Index by +12%.
