Prada: Andrea Guerra will be the new CEO

The rumors that have been circulating for weeks have found official confirmation: Andrea Guerra will be the new CEO of Prada. The Milanese manager will be proposed to the board of directors of the fashion company scheduled for January 26 in the role of managing director.

Guerra will therefore have the task of guiding Prada in a delicate period in which it is facing a generational transition. At the same juncture, Miuccia Prada he will maintain his position as director and creative director of Miu Miu and Prada, the latter together with Raf Simons.

Not only that, on the occasion of the shareholders' meeting called to approve the 2022 financial statements, Patrick Bertelli will be proposed in the role of chairman of the board of directors of Prada spa. Paul Zannoni he will finally be proposed in the role of executive vice president of the board of directors and, at the same time, president of Prada Holding.

Who is Andrea Guerra

Until last spring, Guerra was CEO of LVMH Hospitality Excellence (division including Hotels Cheval Blanc and Belmond Hotels & Luxury Trains) and member of the Executive Committee. Since January 2021, she was also the head of Fendi and Loro Piana. 

Previously, from 2004, to 2014, the manager led Luxottica by Leonardo Del Vecchio e Eataly (2016) by Oscar Farinetti. He had taken his first steps at the top of the household appliance giant Indesit (2000) of the Merloni family.
