Poste Vita: the Deo fund receives 5 stars for sustainability

The fund, managed by UBS, obtained the "Green Star" rating from Gresb, an organization that evaluates the ESG performance of Real Estate investments

Poste Italiane announces that Poste Vita's DEO Fund, managed by UBS, has obtained the "Green Star" rating. This is the highest rating in terms of sustainability and was awarded by GRESB, an organization that evaluates the ESG performance of Real Estate investments.

In detail, the DEO Fund was positioned in twelfth place among unlisted Real Estate investments in the Eurozone in the Office sector with an overall score of 86/100.

"This is the first year of evaluation for the DEO Fund and we are really satisfied with this important result - comments Matteo Del Fante, Chief Executive Officer of Poste Italiane - ESG principles are at the heart of our growth strategy: combining attention to economic results and social responsibility is not only ethically correct, but it is also the best way to ensure the company's long-term success. Furthermore, this year we wanted to tell our results in terms of sustainability through the first Group Integrated Report”.

In line with the ethical approach, in 2019 Poste Vita and Bancoposta Fondi SGR adhered to the Principles for Responsible Investments (PRI), six principles promoted by the United Nations which integrate environmental, social and governance factors into investment processes.

Poste Italiane has also integrated ESG principles into its insurance policies: Poste Vita has in fact adhered to the Principles for Sustainable Insurance (PSI) defined by the United Nations, with the aim of becoming one of the most influential entities in spreading a sustainable culture in operations insurance.
