PostePay has reached the milestone of 10 million cards and confirms itself as the leader in digital payments in Italy. The Poste group company, specialized in payment systems and telecommunications, counted further 500 million e-commerce transactions with Postepay (30 million cards in total) thanks also to the success achieved with PostePay Evolution, the prepaid card equipped with Iban. Poste underlines this with a press release.
Four innovations have characterized the history of Postepay:
– Secure online payments with the introduction of advanced security standards for online payments, ensuring safe transactions for consumer and business customers.
– Mobile App: with over 11 million active digital wallets and 24 million downloads, the Postepay mobile App offers numerous digital services, including through advanced payments that do not require a card but operate in QrCode mode.
– Top-up and withdrawal services: among the solutions offered, for example, the possibility of making online purchases, allowing the card to "automatically" top-up during the payment transaction and to make cardless withdrawals.
– Discounts & Partnerships: there are over 30 Italian and international PostePay partners, with special offers and discounts that provide up to 20% cashback on purchases made by card holders.
