The Covid emergency has been heavy for everyone and for all companies. Once the lockdown is over, the sums are drawn up and Poste Italiane collects an award, the one for the best communication with the media for having informed customers and pensioners and made offices and deliveries available while maintaining continuity of service.

This is the Special Prize "Bic-Best in Media communication", in the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) section announces a note from the group, explaining that the award was promoted by Fortune Italia and Eikon Strategic Consulting as a "seal" of quality and effectiveness to the communication teams for the work done. An "enormous commitment to serving citizens and institutions which once again confirms the profile of a socially responsible company", continues the press release.

In the opinion of the experts, the media campaign carried out by Poste Italiane "guaranteed citizens all the information on the security measures adopted to protect customers and employees, on the continuity of essential services in post offices and in delivery, offering important solutions such as advance of pensions with alphabetical staggering to guarantee liquidity to a large segment of the population and the delivery of pensions to the over 75s by the Carabinieri thanks to an agreement with the Arma. 

 "The award enhances the work of the entire Company, which in the most critical phase of the Covid-19 emergency has once again been able to offer concrete support to the country, also through the reassuring tone of the information message and constant dialogue with citizens", comments Poste CEO Matteo Del Fante.

There are three main indicators of the award: corporate reputation, the effect on the media and the relationship with the world of information. 

There are 14 Bic companies - Best in media communication for 2020. The integrated system for measuring communication on the media, created by Eikon Strategic Consulting Italia and Fortune Italia, has certified AbbVie, Acea, Autogrill, Axa Italia, Enel, Eni, Generali , Generali Italia, Msd Italia, Open Fiber, Poste Italiane, Sace, Takeda, Vodafone Italia.

Among them, Enel was the best performer. 74% of the companies audited obtained BIC certification. The index, developed by Eikon, integrated three key dimensions: media reputation (QVI - Quality Visibility Index), the impact of the work of the communication team (MIA - Media Impact Assessment), the opinion of insiders and journalists (Media Poll).

An independent jury, composed of Ivan Dompé (Professor Luiss
Business School), Gennaro Iasevoli (Pro-Rector Lumsa), Vittorio Meloni
(General Manager Upa) and Fabio Insenga (Director Fortune Italy), awarded a special prize to five communication projects: Eni's plan for the HPC5 supercomputer (corporate); the Vodafone Italia plan for 5G (product); the 'Ora di futuro' project by Generali Italia (sustainability); Poste Italiane's plan for the Coronavirus emergency (CSR); the 'Go further' project on diabetes by MSD Italia (healthcare).
