Post office, offer covered almost three times

Poste Italiane's IPO continues successfully, so much so that tomorrow the management, according to what Radiocor writes, has been called to London for another day of road show which was not on the calendar. The offer is about to be covered three times in total in the price range between the minimum of 6 and the maximum of 7,5 euros. Once, even the upper part of the fork was covered. Today the CEO Francesco Caio, the CFO Luigi Ferraris and the investor relator Luca Torchia are in New York to complete the stage of the road show in the USA, where the sensations were of great interest. Tomorrow, before returning, the top management will therefore travel to London.

Among interested investors those of the Far East are also beginning to appear, such as China and Japan. With the exception of another listing by another postal group, Japan Post, that of Poste Italiane is the only IPO among the large companies in the last year that has not had to revise the price range downwards. Also according to what has been learned, the institutional investor market expects a narrower indication of the range of the definitive price range which, in an 'overbooked' transaction, would probably be well above the minimum of 6 euros. The closing of the offer is scheduled for 13pm on Thursday 22 October.
