Poste Italiane, new CFO and agreement with Unicredit in consumer credit

New CFO in Poste Italiane: from 3 August 2018, Guido Maria Nola will assume the role of Head of the Administration, Finance and Control function ('Chief Financial Officer') of the company. Guido Maria Nola takes over the aforementioned position from Roberto Giacchi.

The change comes on the day Poste Italiane announces that it has signed a letter of intent with Unicredit for greater collaboration in consumer credit. The agreement – ​​explains a note from Poste Italiane – initially concerns the promotion and placement, within the Post Office network, of salary-backed and pension-backed loans, and loans against delegation of payment, disbursed by UniCredit and reserved to retirees, civil servants and private employees, with the possibility of extending, in a second phase, to personal loans.

In line with Deliver 2022, the five-year strategic plan, Poste Italiane with this agreement continues the path started with the creation of partnerships with leading banking groups, in order to further expand the range of products and services distributed through its capillary network to over 34 million customers, leveraging UniCredit's broad expertise in consumer lending.
