The decision came following what emerged from an interception of a phone call during which Raffaele Roscigno took note of a recommendation addressed to him by the director of the post office branch in Siderno Marina, in the province of Reggio Calabria.

Straight dismissal for Raffaele Roscigno, secretary of the Cisl Poste of Milan. This is the drastic decision taken by Poste Italiane following what emerged from an interception of a telephone call during which Roscigno took note of a recommendation addressed to him by the director of the post office branch of Siderno Marina, in the province of Reggio Calabria , Giuseppe Strangio, who supported the hiring of his nephew in the group.

A successful recommendation with the hiring of the recommended letter at the Mariano Comense post office in the province of Como. The Milan prosecutor Ilda Boccassini was investigating Giuseppe Strangio for money laundering of 'Ndrangheta origin in the Lombard capital and who was arrested a few weeks ago.

The Post Office also fired another Cislino trade unionist, Francesco Germanò, head of the postmen in Reggio Calabria, again following the reflections of the same investigation, and a third employee, Pasquale Polimeno.
