Poste Italiane launches the new “Sustainable Invest” fund

Poste Italiane launches "Poste I invest sustainably", a balanced bond fund of BancoPosta Fondi Sgr managed with an investment policy that combines financial analysis with stringent parameters linked to the sustainability profile of the issuers through the assessment of ESG factors.

In detail, within the portfolio the equity component has an average weight of 30%, but can reach up to 50%. As for the bond part, the investment is about government and corporate bonds denominated in EURor, even if you plan to diversify your portfolio to take advantage of opportunities in global markets and companies issuing dollar-denominated securities. The fund's benchmark is composed of sustainable indices, consisting of a small audience of securities selected on the basis of ESG criteria (environmental, social and governance factors).

“In Poste Italiane's vision – he commented Matthew Del Fante, CEO of Poste Italiane – the financial sector can promote innovation and support economic growth, making an important contribution to sustainable development. For this reason, Responsible Finance is one of the pillars of the Group's ESG Strategic Plan, which identifies specific objectives that the entire company is committed to achieving in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the business strategy defined by the Deliver 2022 Plan ”.

“In this context – continues the manager – the issue of integrating environmental, social and governance criteria within traditional investment processes constitutes one of the main declinations of corporate sustainability policies”.

As far as costs are concerned, Poste does not apply any subscription or performance fees, while a management fee of 1,2% per annum is envisaged.

The partner selected by BancoPosta Fondi SGR for the delegated management of the fund is Amundi.
