With the business plan, we have expressed our willingness not to close post offices to maintain proximity to people: by 2022, more than 50% of our customers will have a dedicated consultant. We will also launch a new model of erudite consultancy, for those with important assets", announced Andrea Novelli on the sidelines of the conference on the theme Un inclusive and responsible consultancy: the energy of change between innovation and tradition.

The "Deliver 2022" business plan outlined by the managing director Matteo Del Fante intends to enhance the business of managed savings and financial advice to bring it closer to the needs of Italians.

“Responsible investing will become the standard in the future. There will no longer be a difference between responsible and non responsible investments. Savers expect those who manage money to make responsible investments”, continued Novelli, explaining that Poste embraces the values ​​of this edition of the Salone. Those of sustainability, responsibility and inclusion are values ​​"that inspire us in our consultancy", explains the manager, underlining that "sustainability is a value part of our DNA that we have recently reaffirmed with the participation of Poste Vita and BancoPosta Fondi Sgr to the principles for responsible investment of the United Nations”.

The topic of customer support and proximity was central during the conference: “With a network of 12.800 post offices, a team of over 8.000 consultants including 1.000 mobile, Poste Italiane now offers simple, transparent and easily accessible savings products, from traditional postal bonds and passbook savings accounts to mutual funds, including insurance savings products, and has planned further investments in the development of technological platforms capable of making it more effective the activity of its consultants, and is developing different service models for the various customer segments, with the aim of becoming a point of reference in asset management and in general for all the financial and insurance needs of its customers". reads the official statement of the company.
