Poste Italiane obtains certification on compliance management systems

Poste Italiane gets the certification of the integrated compliance management system. It is the first company in Italy to obtain certification according to the international standard ISO 37301:2021 Compliance Management System of IMQ, one of the most important Italian companies in the conformity assessment sector. This novelty, introduced last year, also has a direct impact on the margin for improvement of the organization also from an ESG perspective.

The certification "was obtained for the management of integrated compliance to oversee the processes of design, development and provision of Postal, Financial and Logistics Services in the areas of administrative, accounting and tax liability", reads a statement from Poste. In particular, the areas of certification concern the administrative liability of the entity pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001, the protection of savings pursuant to Law 262/2005 and tax obligations.

“The certification – said the managing director of Poste Italiane Matthew Del Fante – allows us to align ourselves with the best international standards and further strengthens the reputation of the Group, thanks to the rigorous implementation of the principles of legality, integrity and transparency in all business contexts, essential values ​​on which our corporate identity is based.”

Joseph Lasco, Co-General Manager of Poste, underlined that "respect for internal and external rules and codes of conduct, fairness towards all our stakeholders" are the key factors that make the company "a point of reference for the country" .
