There are 6 million Postepay Evolutions issued by the Poste Italiane Group out of a total of over 19 million Postepays sold.
Postepay Evolution, launched in 2014, is the rechargeable card equipped with Iban which offers, together with the traditional functions of a prepaid card, other services of a current account. It can also be managed on the go using the Postepay App.
"Postepay Evolution - reads the group note - also represents an effective solution for digital payments because it allows you to make online payments quickly and easily, even on the move, in compliance with the required security requirements, authorizing them directly from the App Postepay by entering the personal PosteID code or using the fingerprint (available for enabled terminals)”.
Remaining in the area of digital payments, in line with the Deliver 2022 business plan and through the new company PostePay SpA born on 1 October last, Poste Italiane intends to confirm the creation of new integrated channels, products and services, especially in mobile and digital payments and in e-commerce. The first integrated product signed by PostePay Spa is "Postepay Connect".
"Postepay Connect", in addition to the Postepay Evolution card and a dedicated telephone plan, allows you to manage payment and telephone services within a single App, the Postepay App, and also to have access to the transfer function of your Giga from a Postemobile Connect SIM to another Postemobile Connect SIM (G2G). Directly from the App it is also possible to purchase Giga Extra and renew the fee for the Postepay Evolution card and SIM, automatically debiting the cost on Postepay Evolution with the Connect option.
