Sharp denial by Poste Italiane and the shareholder Tesoro on the hypothetical interests of the group led by Francesco Caio for Monte dei Paschi, as reported this morning by the newspaper "la Repubblica".

The shareholder Tesoro also intervened to confirm Poste Italiane's point of view, according to which "hypothesis of operations involving Poste Italiane in the reorganization of the banking system and in particular the indiscretions that see the company interested in the acquisition of Mps are dismissed by any foundation".
The Roman newspaper had imagined an operation that leveraged Bancoposta but the denial does not allow for replies.
