PostePay Spa confirms its responsible approach to environmental sustainability by continuing to convert physical cards towards eco-sustainable materials: the production of the new cards has in fact started Postepay Standard eco friendly intended to progressively replace the current ones made in plastic bags .
This further phase of the transformation will bring concrete benefits in terms of reducing the environmental impact since the Postepay Standard cards, recognizable by their typical yellow colour, together with the Postepay Evolution represent the largest share of the rechargeable cards present on the market. market.
The reconversion process began in 2021 with the launch of Postepay Green, natively made with materials of biological origin or with marine plastic from the oceans and dedicated to children aged 10 to 17, with the aim of starting to promote younger virtuous behaviors to protect the environment.
Subsequently, the initiative concerned the new Postepay Evolution cards.
PostePay Spa's strategy aims to reach the goal of 20 million eco-sustainable cards by 2025 and is part of Poste Italiane's "ESG" (Environmental, Social and Governance) policies aimed at promoting the protection of environment along the entire value chain through prevention and the use of innovative solutions.
