Poste Italiane to historic record on the Stock Exchange

Poste Italiane reaches new records on the Stock Exchange. In yesterday's session, Tuesday 12 October, the stock recorded an increase of 1,32%, reaching € 12,32 per share, the all-time high reached since the day of its listing. Value exceeded already in today's session in which the shares listed gain a further 0,16% a €12,34 per share.

The company led by Matteo Del Fante has therefore definitively put the difficulties experienced during the pandemic behind it, first returning and then exceeding the highs of 11,51 euros per share seen in the pre-Covid period (February 2020). Since the beginning of the year total shareholder return is 52% (including the dividend) against the +20% achieved by the Ftse Mib. Since the day of listing, which took place six years ago at 6,75 euros, the return for the shareholder has exceeded 150%.

“The development of digital and e-commerce-related logistics, together with the new payment systems have therefore erased the legacy of the pandemic and, waiting for the veil to lift on the next November results, have projected Poste Italiane to values equal to just under double the debut price on the Stock Exchange”, underlines the company in a note.
