Poste Italiane at the Sustainable Development Festival

The Sustainable Development Festival has opened in Rome and will last, throughout Italy, until 14 October, for 17 days, the same number of objectives set by the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The event, now in its fifth edition, is organized by Asvis – the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development – ​​and foresees meetings throughout Italy, and on the net, to raise awareness of businesses, citizens, associations and institutions on sustainability issues and on the 17 objectives identified by the UN and signed up by 193 countries.

If this is the framework, Poste Italiane is present for the first time at the Festival as a tutor with an event to be held on 11 October in which the themes of objective 16 of the 2030 Agenda will be addressed, focused on "Peace, justice and solid institutions", dedicated to the promotion of peaceful and inclusive societies and the construction of responsible and effective institutions at all levels, specifies the statement released by the group led by Matteo Del Fante.

The sustainability objectives of Poste Italiane, the press release released by the group specifies, have been identified also taking as a reference the targets established at a global level envisaged in the 2030 Agenda. the new four-year strategic plan “2024 Sustain & Innovate”, “Poste Italiane sets itself the goal of guiding the country towards responsible and sustainable growth. The plan, which provides investments of 3,1 billion euros, puts sustainability, together with innovation, at the heart of the corporate strategy”, concludes the company.
