Post Office: the plan for ATMs in small municipalities is underway

Poste Italiane's plan is kicking off, which aims to extend the Postamat ATM network to the 254 smallest Italian municipalities. These are centers with less than 5 inhabitants, where there is no post office. The project started with two new ATMs in Cassiglio and Piazzolo, in the province of Bergamo.

Installations fall between the "10 commitments" for small Municipalities presented by the managing director of the group, Matteo Del Fante, on the occasion of the meeting with the "Mayors of Italy" last November 26 in Rome.

Postmat ATMs are active at all times and allow not only to withdraw cash, but also to consult the balance and the list of movements, as well as top up telephone cards and Postepay cards. Finally, through the same counters it is also possible to pay bills and postal current account slips.

The new Postamat can be used by BancoPosta account holders, Postamat-Maestro card holders and credit card holders of the major international circuits, as well as by Postepay card holders.
