Porto Tolle: Tatò, Scaroni and Conti acquitted

All the former CEOs of the electric giant, Franco Tatò, Paolo Scaroni and Fulvio Conti, were all acquitted on appeal for the emissions of the Enel plant in Porto Tolle. The Court of Appeal of Venice has completely overturned the sentence of first instance, establishing that the alleged "environmental damage" simply does not exist and that the citizens of Porto Tolle have not run any danger to their health.

The Ministries of the Environment and Health and some environmental associations are defeated in the process and therefore will not receive any compensation.
