This was stated by the president of Consob, Giuseppe Vegas, speaking of the cooperative banks during a hearing on the bank decree in the Finance and Productive Activities commissions of the Chamber, underlining that these are "subjects who made purchases before 16 January, possibly accompanied by sales in the following week. The actual or potential capital gains from this operation can be estimated at 10 million euros”.
