The 2012 financial statements have been approved by the Poltrona Frau shareholders' meeting. The group's net revenues decreased by 2% compared to 2011: they were 251.535 million and, at the end of 2012, they were 246.988. Ebitda increased by 2% (from 25.586 million to 26.032). The EBIT dropped by as much as 17%: in 2011 the result before financial charges was 18.820 million, in 2012 15.533 million. The pre-tax result fell by 27% (from 11.665 to 8.531).
The residential segment, which fell by 9,8% compared to 2011, weighed heavily on the decrease in revenues. The Interiors in motion (+15,5%) and Contract (+6,6%) sectors, on the other hand, improved. The operating result decreased mainly due to the costs incurred for the restructuring operation, equal to 3,9 million euros. In the early hours of the afternoon, the Poltrona Frau share is up by more than one percentage point.
