Poland, Gazprom cuts supplies by 24%

“We are determining the reasons to know whether they are of a technical or commercial nature,” writes the Polish gas institution – It cannot be excluded that it is a question of commercial retaliation linked to Poland's anti-Russian position in the context of the Ukrainian crisis.

Poland, Gazprom cuts supplies by 24%

Gazprom has reduced gas supplies to Poland. This was noted by the Polish gas agency, specifying that the cut by the Russian giant was 24% "in relation to the expected volumes" through the gas pipeline that passes through Belarus.

"We are determining the reasons for knowing whether they are of a technical or commercial nature", the institution's note continues. It obviously cannot be ruled out that this is a commercial retaliation linked to Poland's anti-Russian position in the context of the Ukrainian crisis.
