Pirelli closed the first quarter with a Net income of 101,4 million, up 12,2%, e consolidated revenues for 1,568 billion. up 6,5%, while theebit it improved by 4,5% to 210,1 million. All these data are higher than the average forecast by analysts, which amounted to 1,548 billion for revenues, 215 million for Ebit and 94 million for profit.
The group confirmed theobiettivo to achieve an operating profit of approximately 930 million in the whole of 2015, after restructuring charges of 40 million, and to bring revenues for the year to approximately 6,4 billion.
La net financial position at the end of 2015 is estimated at approximately 850 million compared to 979,8 at the end of 2014. At 31 March 2015, discounting "the usual seasonal nature of the business", net borrowing it stands at 1,732 billion (1,965 billion as at 31 March 2014).
