Pirelli buys back 2023 bonds for 17,6 million

Pirelli & C. announces that today it has purchased – and simultaneously cancelled – bonds for a total nominal value of 17,6 million euros.

With reference to the announced partial repurchase program of the debenture loan named “Pirelli & CSpA €600,000,000 1.375 per cent. Guaranteed Notes due 25 January 2023” (ISIN: XS1757843146) up to a maximum nominal value of 50 million euros, Pirelli & C. announces that today it has purchased – and simultaneously cancelled – bonds for a total nominal value of 17,6 million euro.

The bonds have been purchased by Goldman Sachs International, on behalf of Pirelli, in the period October 31-November 15, 2018 at an average price of approximately 96,149% per bond. The partial bond purchase program – as already disclosed to the market – will continue until 14 December next, subject to early closure in the event that the maximum envisaged amount is reached.

Consequently, the total nominal value of the outstanding bonds at the date of this communication is equal to 582,4 million euros.
