Capital gain of 739 million euros for Marco Tronchetti Provera and its partners in the context of the operation which led to the transfer of Pirelli to ChemChina.
The figure is taken from the financial statements of Camfin, closed on 31 August (with a profit of 761,1 million euros) to allow Long-Term Investments Luxembourg (Lti), a company through which Rosneft controls 50 % of Camfin.
The other half of Camfin belongs to Coinv, a vehicle under the control of Nuove Partecipazioni, which is controlled by Tronchetti Provera. Lti's exit from Camfin will be effected partly in cash and partly in shares of Marco Polo International, a shareholder of Pirelli.
