Pirelli gains 1,01% in Piazza Affari. The shares change hands at 12,01 euros, with volumes equal to 1,1 million shares compared to the 2,1 average in an entire session in the last month.

Raising the title is the interview of the president Marco Tronchetti Provera with the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, in which the number one of Bicocca confirms his willingness to leave all offices in 2017. Tronchetti also specified that he intends to sell the entire stake held in the group and to consider Pirelli too big to be a family business. This is the factor that gave impetus to the action.

In 2017, moreover, the agreements with the other shareholders of Lauro-Camfin will expire and the market therefore expects an overall reorganization of the shareholding structure. Tronchetti's indications, explains Intermonte, support "our investment case and consequently the recommendation on the stock" ('outperform' with a target of 13,5 euros). “We are convinced – write the analysts – that over time the stock will begin trading at higher multiples as the market will give an ever greater chance of a possible takeover”.

In the interview Tronchetti also underlined that in Italy it is impossible to invest and difficult to do business.
