The 2020 Pirelli Calendar shot by Paolo Roversi has the title of “Looking for Juliet”: the photographer's project, which it involves actresses and singers from different cultures and countries, in fact takes its cue from the Shakespearean drama and from the encounter between love, strength, youth and beauty represented by its female protagonist.
The protagonists of “Looking for Juliet” they are called by the photographer to represent the role of Juliet in an ideal casting that sees them act, pose, sing. Each of her through her own emotionality, her own art form, her own personality, her own character and her own interpretation of the role.
Roversi called to play the role of Juliet nine characters, including British actresses Claire Foy and Mia Goth, British actress and activist Emma Watson, US actresses Indya Moore, Yara Shahidi and Kristen Stewart, Chinese singer Chriss Lee, Spanish singer Rosalia, French-Italian artist Stella Roversi.
