Francesco Gori will be advisor to Malacalza Investimenti "with a view to better management of the stake held in Pirelli & C.", equal to 7%. The Genoese group communicates it in a note, specifying that "the assignment will have as object, among other things, the in-depth analysis of data from the Tire sector".
Gori was a manager of Pirelli for a long time, which he joined in 1978. During his long career at Bicocca he was, among other things, general manager of the tire sector in 2001, managing director of Pirelli Tire in 2006 and, in 2009, also general manager of Pirelli & C. In May 2012 he left the group.
At the opening in Piazza Affari, the Pirelli stock gains 0,91%.
