The leather goods group pays for the weakness of demand on the Italian market and in the first nine months of the 2012-2013 financial year it records a sharp drop in profit (-52,16% to 2,9 million euro) and turnover (-12,34 %, to 50,5 million).

Piquadro pays for the weakness of demand on the Italian market (which represents 73% of the turnover) and closes the first nine months of the year ended 31 December with sharply declining sales and profits. Above all, the contraction in net profit was sharp, falling by 52,16% on an annual basis, to 2,9 million euros, while Ebitda went from 10,5 million in the first nine months of 2011 to 6,5, 40,5 million euros. Turnover, on the other hand, stood at 12,34 million (-XNUMX%).

"The results for the first nine months of the year - reads the note released by the leather goods company - continue to be affected by the difficult situation on the domestic market where consumption is at an all-time low", a weakness which, according to estimates, will also weigh on current quarter. The net financial position as at 31 December 2012 shows a debt of approximately 13,2 million euros.
