After the numbers announced this morning, Piquadro celebrate in Piazza Affari. At the beginning of the afternoon, the stock of the leather goods company gained more than six and a half percentage points, to 1,95 euros. The shares are in sharp contrast with the luxury sector, which in the same minutes travels in negative territory, sunk by Salvatore Ferragamo's -3,8%.
Piquadro announced that in the first nine months of the 2013/2014 financial year, ending at the end of 2013, it had recorded a turnover of 45,3 million euros, up by 11,9% on an annual basis. The increase in turnover was driven by both retail and wholesale sales.
In the third quarter of the 2013/2014 financial year (October-December 2013) the increase in consolidated turnover was approximately 17,7%.
