Pimco, Gross: "Low rates still for decades"

The low-yield regime is set to continue "for decades". According to Bill Gross, head of Pimco, the largest bond fund in the world. Gross also believes that in the presence of such low yields it is possible to achieve a return of 4% per annum, focusing on short bond maturities and Treasuries that protect against inflation.

As for the "tapering" of the Fed, according to Gross it should arrive in December, a month before the changing of the guard at the top of the American Central Bank, with the current deputy Janet Yellen given in pole position after Bernanke.
