Complete success of Hera's takeover bid on Acegas-Aps which is now moving towards delisting

Complete success of the takeover bid launched by Hera, the second Italian local utility by turnover but first on the Stock Exchange, on Acegas-Aps, the former municipal company from Trieste and Padua. Herà will come to hold 92,72% of Acegas-Aps and will therefore be able to start the delisting.

With this operation - the umpteenth aggregation of the Tommasi era - the Hera group becomes the first national operator in waste treatment, the second in the integrated water cycle, the third in gas distribution and the fifth in the sale of electricity to end customers .

Great satisfaction with the success of the operation was immediately expressed by the chairman of Hera, Tomaso Tommasi di Vignano who underlined above all the value of the "very high participation of small savers, who fully understood and appreciated the industrial and service project". As markets and territories have also done. “Now – concluded Tommasi – the goal is to carry on processes of operational integration and proceed with the delisting of Acegas-Aps spa”.

The integration of Acegas-Aps will represent the starting point for a further expansion of Hera in the North-East through the future integration of the municipal x of Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
