Today a note from Greece's creditors indicated that it is possible to extend the bailout agreement by another 5 months, with the disbursement of 16,3 billion to the country needed to support Athens' commitments (by 30 June Athens must repay 1,6 billion euros to the International Monetary Fund.). German Chancellor Angela Merkel has urged Greece to accept the "extraordinarily generous" offer made by the EU, the ECB and the IMF, in exchange for a package of measures and reforms to be approved by the weekend. A proposal which, however, does not appear equally generous in the eyes of the Greek premier Alexis Tsipras, who has assured that he will continue to refuse "blackmail and ultimatums" from creditors.

Meanwhile, the ECB has left unchanged, for the third day in a row, the ceiling on liquidity available to the Greek banking system through the ELA (Emergency Liquidity Assistance) desk. The Central Bank of Greece, according to some sources, would not have requested additional emergency funding and in recent days the daily withdrawals from bank deposits have decreased.

WTI oil dropped 0,32% to 59,51 dollars a barrel and the euro-dollar exchange rate lost 0,54% to 1,1144.
