Less than an hour from the end of the session, the Milan Stock Exchange returns to positive territory and gains 0,2%. The turning point came in the afternoon after hours of passion which in the middle of the day had led Piazza Affari to lose more than 2% following the collapse of bank stocks.
Banks are still sharply down with Mps, which, despite having limited its losses, still records a strongly negative performance with a drop that fluctuates around 10%.
Leading the recovery in Piazza Affari is Exor, which gains more than 4% on the wave of the Ferrari effect, but good performances are also being revealed by Luxottica, Autogrill, Eni and Telecom Italia.
If it maintains the current trend, Piazza Affari will close the day as one of the best European stock exchanges, given that Frankfurt and London are still in the red.
