In the middle of the day, thanks to the drop in the spread (276 bp) and some corporate cases, the Milan stock exchange was the best in the old continent: +1,5% – Rcs shares sparked (+25,9%) after the move by Fiat – Luxury also shines and Prysmian – Great leap for Mediobanca, Saipem rebounds, Telecom Italia recovers.

After a setback due to the fall in the German confidence index (rising on the contrary in France and Italy) the stock markets resumed their upward path. In Milan the index Ftse Eb earns 1,05% to 1599 points. London rises by 0,87%, Paris +0,67%. Frankfurt up 0,38%. The 10-year BTP moved little to 4,52% (-2 basis points) while the yield on the Bund fell to 1,75% (+2 basis points): the spread thus contracted by 5 basis points to 276. 

The behavior of RCS Media Group (+25,91%), after being suspended for a good part of the morning due to excessive increases. It is the effect of the communication that Fiat, thanks to the round-up of option rights to the capital increase, will become the first shareholder with 20%. The Lingotto stock rises by 1,14%. Fiat Industrial +1,11%. Exor +1,89%.

Among the first reactions of analysts, that of Kepler, which maintains the negative rating on the publishing house and target price at 1,38 but notes that this reorganization process can be positive, as it could maximize the value of the various divisions and facilitate the future sale, in particular of the Spanish assets". For the moment, even the Intermonte analysts prefer to leave the underperform rating on the RCS stock unchanged because the financial structure of the publishing group is very tight and unbalanced on debt.

It stands out among the featured titles Prysmian, +3,76%, buoyed by expectations of a rebound in the copper price. Telecom Italy salt by 1,03%. The company has denied the existence of negotiations with Qatar for the sale of a share in the future network company. The banks are opposed. Unicredit loses 0,28%, Understanding +0,81% Collection of Mediobanca, which rises by 4,6%. 

On the other hand, luxury is in evidence after the buyout promotion of H&M (+3,7%) by Merrll Lynch. Ferragamo + 2,21% Luxottica + 2,75% Tod’s + 2,03% cucinelli + 2% Yoox +2%. New progress for freshman Italy Independent + 2,8%. Diasorin +3,62%. The diagnostic kit company has announced the launch of a new product. It bounces Saipem, + 4%.
