The positive note comes from the world of luxury.

Salvatore Ferragamo it hit a new all-time high at €29,85 and closed trading at €29,54, up 0,99%.

Tod’s closes at +0,08%, Cucinelli +2%.

Moncler's IPO helped ignite attention for the sector which recorded record bookings, 12 times the offer. The freshman will debut in Piazza Affari on December 16 and could do so by positioning himself in the upper part of the price range between 8,75 and 10,20 euros for a group valuation of up to 2,55 billion. The management promises future shareholders a payout in line with the sector and the opening of 20 stores a year. President Ruffini will not sell shares, not even after the lock-up has expired.

Banks are down: Unicredit -1,03%, Intesa -0,79%, MontePaschi -1,07%, despite the sale of a 59,3% stake in Sia to Fondo Strategico Italiano, F2i Sgr and Orizzonte Sgr on the basis of a valuation of 100% of Sia's capital equal to 765 million.

Mediobanca -1,1%. Ubi Banca -1,32%, Banco Popolare -1,8%.

Weak too insurance: Generali -0,8%, Fondiaria-Sai-0,4%.
