Piazza Affari, the role of freshmen on the Stock Exchange: today Zanetti-Segafredo debuts

The debut of Zanetti-Segafredo, the first Italian café on the Stock Exchange, paves the way for a new series of IPOs that is about to arrive at Piazza Affari: Bologna Airport, the Telecom towers (Inwit), the Sorgente Res , Banca Sistema and Domus Italia will be the next freshmen – The most popular sectors

Today it's up to Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group to debut on the Stock Exchange by bringing Italian coffee (Segafredo) to Piazza Affari for the first time. But the coffee debut is only the first sign of a new IPO cycle that is about to hit the stock exchange, Greece permitting.

Infrastructure, real estate, food and finance are the sectors most popular with investors and the most attracted by the list.

After Zanetti, which was well received by retail and institutional investors, the starting blocks for take-off on the Stock Exchange are the Telecom Italia towers with Inwit, Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport, the Sorgente Res real estate and of Domus Italia and Banca Sistema.

Transmission towers are at the center of market attention and Telecom Italia hopes to replicate with Inwit the success recently achieved in Spain by Cellnex (the Abertis towers) in the wake of the experience already achieved by the Rai and Mediaset towers.

Even airports are of great interest to investors and Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport is ready to take off after the decision of local authorities to monetize by exiting the capital or reducing their shareholding. For now, Bologna is on the launch pad, but Sea (Malpensa and Linate) has also been thinking about the Stock Exchange for some time.

Then there is real estate which is arousing many appetites also due to the awakening of the market, which attracts international investors due to the very competitive prices of the Italian sector: the first test bench will be that of Sorgente Res by Valter Mainetti who is preparing the 'landing in Piazza Affari with a business model focused on high-quality properties. Domus Italia follows closely behind.

Finally, among the possible IPOs there is that of Banca Sistema, an independent credit institution focused on the purchase, management and financing of loans to the Public Administration.

Basically, if Greece does not play tricks on the market, a new season of freshmen is opening for Piazza Affari which will serve to strengthen the Italian list which is also preparing to develop the Aim segment (that of small businesses), which has already registered 9 listings since the beginning of the year and which is reaching 90 companies.
