PIRELLI TOWARDS THE TAKEOVER

In Piazza Affari, the light went on for Pirelli, which rose by 2,21% while savings jumped by 4,11%. At Consob's request, Camfin confirmed the negotiations to sell the entire stake held in the Bicocca group to an Italian newco controlled by a foreign partner at 15 euros per share. The transaction provides for the subsequent launch of a total takeover bid on Pirelli. In the consortium of buyers, in addition to Marco Tronchetti Provera and the Rovati family, there is also Rosneft. The novelty will be represented by China National Chemical even if Camfin did not refer to the Chinese in the press release.

At the top of the Ftse Mib, however, we find stocks linked to oil in the wake of the recovery of crude oil: Eni +3,44%, Snam +3,28%. Intesa Sanpaolo +3,03%, Azimut +2,28% and Wdf +2,23% were also highlighted. FCA -0,65%, BPM -0,53%, Enel Green Power -0,5% slide to the bottom of the main basket.

Telecom Italia cancels sales and closes on parity (-0,09%). Yesterday the company announced the return to profit in 2014 for 1,3 billion.
