Piazza Affari could soon see a new freshman, greening up the price list and expanding the already large group of luxury brands that have decided to embark on this adventure. The latest signing, of which a possible IPO is rumored, is Ermenegildo Zegna, which would follow the successful debuts of Salvatore Ferragamo and Brunello Cucinelli.
According to Il Sole 24 Ore, the IPO dossier is already on the table for the maison, even if the family has repeatedly denied the intention. The operation would also find the approval of Borsa Italiana, which is allegedly trying to curb the bleeding from the IPO and the leaks from the List with a real change of look.
The idea of the company that manages the Milan stock exchange would be to create a list strongly based on luxury and Made in Italy, points of excellence of our country. In this regard, the landings on the Stock Exchange of two other well-known brands, Moncler and Moleskine, would also be expected.
