Piazza Affari, capitalization reaches almost 35% of GDP: too little

2015 closed with 356 listed companies (there were 342 a year ago) and with a capitalization increased to 567,7 billion euros: 34,8% of the Italian GDP: it is still too low compared to the major European financial centres.

The capitalization of companies listed on the Piazza Affari is growing, increasing in 2015 by 17,6% compared to the previous year to 567,7 billion. Borsa Italiana communicates it. There capitalization therefore reaches 34,8% of the Italian GDP, while it was 29,1% at the end of 2014. but compared to the major European stock markets it is still too little.

2015 closes with 356 listed companies (there were 342 a year ago), of which 282 on the MTA (of which 71 Star) and 74 on Aim Italia. IPOs are also growing.
