The board of directors of the parent company Asset Management Holding yesterday approved the launch of the listing project on the main list of Borsa Italiana. The structure of the offer, the methods, terms and conditions of the listing have not yet been defined, explains a note, and will be the subject of subsequent resolutions by the board of directors of the holding company. 

"The decision was made in consideration of the excellent results achieved by the group - commented Giuseppe Zadra, chairman of Am Holding and of Anima sgr -, also taking into account that the strategic alliance agreements between the shareholders had from the outset identified the listing in stock exchange as a primary objective for the enhancement and development as an independent leader in asset management".

The company was born from the merger of the asset management companies of Banca Popolare di Milano and Monte dei Paschi di Siena, but today it belongs to Clessidra. Under the guidance of the managing director Marco Carreri, at the end of 2013 Anima managed over 46 billion euros in assets, making it one of the largest independent companies on the Italian market.
