Photolux: "Tales of the Pandemic" in Lucca from 12 December

Photolux confirms its proposal for five exhibitions in the historical venues of Palazzo Ducale and Villa Bottini in Lucca, from 12 December 2020 to 3 January 2021.

A shift made necessary following the publication of the new provisions on the containment of the contagion from Covid-19, contained in the Prime Ministerial Decree of 3 November.

The collective is held in the Lucchese Photographic Archive at Villa Bottini until 31 January The beginning of the future.

The exhibition, curated by Giulia Ticozzi and Arcipelago-19, with an audiovisual installation by Cesura, traces the different phases of the pandemic, as they have been and are experienced in Italy, through the stories of photographers .. The itinerary is completed with an exhibition entitled "Tales of the Pandemic", curated by Enrico Stefanelli and Chiara Ruberti, and produced by the Lucchese Photographic Archive “A. Fazzi", which presents a selection of materials from the Covid-19 fund relating to the health emergency in the Lucca area, told through images and videos by authors, not necessarily professionals, who live and work in Lucca and its province.

The exhibition offer of Palazzo Ducale opens with the exhibition dedicated to the winners of the 63rd edition of W, an initiative that rewards the best photographs that have contributed to recounting the events and news of the previous year and continues with Bitter Leaves, the report thatRocco Rorandelli (1973), a member of the TerraProject collective, conducted between India, China, Indonesia, the United States, Italy and many other countries, to report the impact of the tobacco industry on people's health, the economy and the environment, therefore with the exhibition Foul and Awesome Display, a European Photography production curated by Francesco Colombelli, which offers a series of photographic books that analyzes how the development of combat weapons has gone hand in hand with that of the most modern technologies.
