Philips archives the second quarter with a profit of 289 million euros, a decrease of 32,9% compared to the 431 million recorded in the same period last year. As for turnover, it rose by 4%, to 4,29 billion, while the ebitda showed a growth of 15%, to 439 million. "We are on track, despite the volatility, to deliver sales growth of 4-6% in 2017 and an EBITDA improvement of around 100 points per year," said executive director Frans van Houten.
