We want to meet Meloni ”, he explained Joseph Lost, president of Faib Confesercenti. Even if "until the last minute" the unions of the petrol stations say they are "willing to find a team, but now it is not possible". But what are the gas station strike times

Strike of petrol stations at the end of January: here are the times

The petrol station strike will begin at 19:00 on January 24st and will end at 19:00 on 26 January, 48 hours in total. The closure of the lifts will affect roads and highways and also the self-service mode. However, the organizations that called the strike point out, the minimum essential services will be guaranteed, with a certain number of service stations operating both in the cities and on the motorway networks.

Gas station attendants-government clash on the transparency decree

For his part, Minister Urso, during the third meeting, put various proposals on the table amendment of the transparency decree undergoing conversion to Parliament. Among these are: the obligation to communicate petrol prices will become weekly (and not daily) and with each change in the cost at the pump; closure due to non-communication will take place only after four omissions in the space of 60 days, and no more after three without time limits, even if not consecutive. Any closure can be decided from one to 30 days, whereas previously the forecast was from seven to 90 days. The penalties for failure to communicate will range from a minimum of 200 to a maximum of 800 euros, depending on the turnover of the plant (previously it was up to 6 thousand euros).

“With these changes – says the ministry – the principle of maximum transparency is affirmed, consumers are put in a position to know the average price and also that charged by each distributor. This facilitates the activities of the managers by simplifying the communication procedures and making any sanctions more commensurate”.

“The answers that have arrived do not satisfy us: we cannot revoke this strike because they are not changed conditions and the message that passes is that we are responsible for the speculation,” he retorted Bruno Bearzi president of Figisc/Anisa.

"No improvement elements have arrived since this morning's meeting, on the contrary, if anything, conditions have worsened", explains a member of Fegica. While a member of Figisc adds: "The table confirmed that for the government ours is a category to be put under observation with a sign, as in the Middle Ages".
